Camp Why Not Junior Zoo Keeper camp is a unique and exciting educational adventure
for young people 6yrs and older.
This week long/ day-night camp offers a once in a lifetime opportunity. Everything
from habitat, behavior, feeding, meeting and caring for the zoo babies.
- Meet & Greet Animals with a Guided Tour
- Learn educational facts about each individual Animal
- Learn about food and diet of animals and assist in feeding and food preparation
- Care for animals
- Create Enrichment toys for animals
- Campers will be assigned a horse and learn all care and responsibilities needed
- Experience the Joys and rewards of caring for a multitude of different Animals
- Fishing Activities
- Unique photo opportunities
- Creating memories that will last a lifetime - as well as having lots of fun.
- Archery Lessons
- Lasso Lessons
- Bottle Feeding Farm Animals (When in Season)
- Animal Related Crafts
- Games
- Campfire activities in the evenings
- Hiking
- Scrap booking

- Overnight camps start at the age of 8 and up.
- Daily camps start at the age of 6 and up.
Drop off for camp is on Sundays between 5-7.
Graduation Ceremonies and Zoo-Keepers tours will be at 11 am the following Sunday.
Campers will be broken into small groups so each child gets hands on adventures and
individual attention.
- For the overnight camps, 3 meals a day will be provided.

At the end of camp, each camper will receive A Junior Zoo Keeper's diploma and...
Their first job as a Junior Zoo Keeper will be to give their family a guided tour
and show them what they've been up to for the past week!
Camp Why Not will be accepting new campers starting in February 2011. We will be
offering Week camps as well as Day camps.
